BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: CONTRACT RENEWALS FOR ALESSANDRO TONELLI AND ENRICO ZANONCELLO.
Bardiani CSF Faizanè is happy to announce the contract renewals of Alessandro Tonelli, for the 2023 and 2024 seasons and of Enrico Zanoncello, for the 2023 season. For Alessandro Tonelli who became professional in 2015 with the #GreenTeam, the upcoming ones will be the ninth and tenth season with the team.
Alessandro Tonelli is preparing to become a real symbol of the #GreenTeam. Thanks to the 2 years renewal, he will ride at least 10 seasons with the team led by Bruno and Roberto Reverberi.
He became pros in 2015, the rider from Brescia has been able over the years to carve out an important role in the team, as a team man, always at the disposal of the captains, a point of reference in the team for the youngest riders and always able to respond “present” on occasions important. Always present in the breakaway that matters, from which he has already achieved success in 2018 and from which he continues to chase the big goal, such as the one he almost reached in the Castelmonte stage at the last Giro d’Italia (third on the finish line). His career will continue in 2023 and 2024 in the ranks of the #GreenTeam.
Contract renewal also for the rider from Verona, Enrico Zanoncello, an athlete born in 1997 back from his first two seasons as a professional in the ranks of the Bardiani CSF Faizanè team. Despite having achieved podiums and placements on several occasions, Enrico Zanoncello lacked success. However, the team’s management has decided to renew his trust to allow him to fully express his potential in a year that will be decisive for him.

Alessandro Tonelli:
“It was a bit of a troubled renewal, but in the team I have always been good and I am happy, I grew up with this team, I became a man and a rider, and now I have a very specific role in the race. Covid has changed many things in these years, also my goals. Before I aspired to make the big jump in the World Tour. But now I am very happy to stay in what it is and will probably become more and more, the Italian team of reference, to continue on my path today as rider and one day, who knows, maybe even for something more. “
Enrico Zanoncello: “I am happy and grateful for this renewal and I hope to return my trust as soon as possible. I’m aware that my last 2 season were not so good as I expected, me for first I expected to make better results. The jump among pros has not been easy and some injuries find’t helps me, I made some good placements while on other occasions I could have and wanted to achieve success. I know how important and decisive next season will be, but I hope to already win in this final of 2022, where important appointments still await us.”
