At the end of the last stage of the Istrian Spring Trophy, characterized once again by cold and rain, Daniel Savini won the KOM jersey. In the general ranking second position for Filippo Zana and sixth place for Daniel Savini, behind the winner Fisher-Black who wins the bonuses of the day with his speed and wins the general classification.
Daniel Savini wins the KOM final ranking of the Istrian Spring Trophy. A jersey won with tenacity thanks to the attack on the first day where he was caught by the group less than a kilometer from the finish-line, to the good fifth place obtained yesterday in the queen stage and finally to the placement in today’s GPM. The young climber also finishes 6th in the general classification, behind his teammates Filippo Zana, who lose the leadership of the general ranking for a matter of seconds. In fact, the young man of the Jumbo-Visma development team, Fisher-Black, won it thanks to his speed in the sprints with which he took today’s rebates.
However, the Istrian Spring Trophy ends with a good balance. A stage victory by Filippo Zana in the queen stage, a best climber jersey conquered by Daniel Savini, a second and sixth place in the general ranking for Filippo Zana and Daniel Savini, a stage podium conquered by Filippo Fiorelli in the first stage and two top10 stage with Daniel Savini 5th in the second stage and Filippo Fiorelli 6th in the third and last stage.
