BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: RICCARDO LUCCA WILL BE A NEO-PRO STARTING FROM 2023 SEASON.

Riccardo Lucca will become a professional from 2023 and will do so among the ranks of the team led by Bruno and Roberto Reverberi. The 1997 class that has shown great grit and determination in recent years passes by Elite and is ready to forge ahead and make up for lost time.

“I am aware that I have wasted time in the past, but this has given me a lot of grit and determination in recent years to show off, emerge and become a professional” Riccardo Lucca introduces himself with these words, who from 2023 will be a neo-pro with Bardiani CSF Faizanè.

Born in 1997, a long-distance climber, he prepares himself for the big jump at the age of 25, he who, although not yet a pro, among the professionals has already won last June by conquering a stage of the Adriatic Ionica Race dominated by Filippo Zana. After a start in the Under23 category that he himself recognizes as not of a good level, Riccardo Lucca has entered a series of very important seasons from the point of view of results and consistency of performance. Ready to be one of the new riders of the #GreenTeam for next season, he is determined to compete also in the races of the highest World Tour category to take a further step of growth.

These are the words of Riccardo Lucca at the time of signing:

“From 2020 I immediately found a good pace on my return from Covid stop, I won two races and did well in time trials at the national championships, I wanted 2021 to be my decisive year, I won 7 races and I rode a lot with the pros and I thought I would make the big jump, but I knew that at my age in today’s cycling it is difficult. At the end of the season, Giorgio Furlan, Fondriest and my family supported me a lot and pushed me to try again and then I thank Massimo Levorato and all the Vitalcare Vega Work Service for the opportunity given in this 2022, and I managed to win this important contract. For me this is a new starting point, I thank the Reverberi for the trust that I want to repay immediately with the results. I have already raced a lot in professional races, I miss the last step of the World Tour races to gain further experience and I can’t wait to try this new important reality.”
