BARDIANI CSF FAIZANE’: THE OFFICIAL LINE-UP FOR “IL LOMBARDIA”, THE LAST WORLD TOUR RACE OF THE SEASON.
The last Monument of the season will be raced On Saturday, Oct. 8, at the start all the Professional and WorldTour teams, for a race that promises great emotions.
The final WorldTour race on the 2022 calendar, starting in Bergamo, with the first half of the race covering 50% of the total elevation gain, before arriving in Como, where the final 22km of the final circuit will be covered, for a total of 253km. A lineup chosen based on the riders’ level of shape after the fall races.
The Italian Champion Filippo Zana will be the leader of the #GreenTeam. There will be room for climbers such as Luca Covili, Henok Mulubrhan, Omar El Gouzi, and Alex Tolio. Also supporting the team will be the experience of Davide Gabburo and Alessandro Tonelli.
Sports Director Roberto Reverberi’s statement on the race strategy: “The goal is to make a good impression in a race with WorldTour teams of the highest level, we will try to insert ourselves in a possible breakaway and make a good performance, especially with Filippo Zana.”
Luca Amoriello will also be in the team car to lead the #GreenTeam.

GRAVEL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
We move from road to dirt road, Sunday, October 9th there will be the first edition of the Gravel World Championship, in which Samuele Zoccarato, the first Italian champion in the discipline, to challenge him there will be Sagan, Van Der Poel, and Van Avermaet.
The Italian Cycling Federation has also granted 3 Wild Cards to the Bardiani CSF Faizanè riders, so Colnaghi, Fiorelli, and Modolo will participate.
194 km, starting in Vicenza and finishing in Cittadella, the race will be live on Eurosport from 14:00 to 16:00.
