The collaboration between the #GreenTeam and the Italian company specialized in the production of high-level cycling footwear continues in the sign of continuity. For Gaerne, 2022 will be a special season, in which the 60th anniversary of its foundation will be celebrated. An event to be celebrated, hopefully, with numerous sporting successes.

Gaerne G.STL is the official shoe of the Bardiani CSF Faizanè riders for the 2022 season. Equipped with a double rotor for progressive micro-adjustment and an ultra-thin carbon fiber sole, the Gaerne footwear offers the team performance, lightness and the utmost in technology.

Giovanni Visconti confirms his feeling with G.STL: “For me it will be the second season with this shoe, but we know well that due to the physical problems I had last year it will be like the first for me. We have already tested various situations, simulating high-speed sprints, after many hours of training and the shoe reacted perfectly. G.STL sets the new benchmark for innovation, performance and comfort in cycling footwear, also used in professionalism by the riders of Bardiani CSF Faizanè.

The upper, with a clean design, is made of a single piece of microfiber with laser drilling to ensure excellent ventilation. The ANATOMIC HEEL CUP 1.0 heel with a new anatomical shape, combined with the TARSAL SUPPORT SYSTEM 1.0 technology, guarantees the perfect position of the foot inside the shoe, for unparalleled power transmission and control. The INFIT CLOSURE SYSTEM has eight fixing zones that provide infinite adjustment possibilities and a precise and personalized closure.

BOA Li2: Innovative rotor with progressive micro-adjustment offers the ultimate in quick, easy and precise adjustment. Boa Technology guarantees the reel and cables of the Boa closing system for the entire useful life of the product.

FIT TONGUE 1.0 It uses a variable thickness in its longitudinal and transverse section, obtained thanks to the seamless construction technique. Internally it is built with high-tech padding and is perforated for better breathability.

EPS COMFORT INSOLE: Anatomic insole with support in the tarsal area to ensure comfort and efficiency in pedaling. The insole is perforated for an optimal microclimate inside the shoe.

GAERNE EPS LIGHT WEIGHT FULL CARBON SOLE 12.0 in woven carbon fiber, light and ultra thin, guarantees the transfer of every watt of power on the pedals. The foot is also more stable thanks to the shape of the sole in the arch area. Four air intakes ensure ventilation inside the shoe. The sole has a non-slip insert in the toe and an interchangeable cleat in the rear area. The cleat position can be moved back by 9 mm compared to the previous standard. An alignment scale printed on the sole allows you to memorize the position of the cleat. Stiffness index of the sole equal to 12. Also available with “Carbon Speedplay” sole.
