With the Veneto Classic, the 2023 season of the Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè officially comes to an end. Another placement for Filippo Fiorelli, finishing 10th at the Bassano del Grappa finish line. The #greenteam rider had already secured a 6th place at the Serenissima Gravel two days ago. After the final ascent of La Tisa, the group came back together, containing 4 riders in green jerseys: Luca Covili, Alex Tolio, Martin Marcellusi, and, of course, Filippo Fiorelli. Former #greenteam member Filippo Zana’s attack on the Diesel Farm climb at -10 kilometers fragmented the group, taking Formolo and Hirschi with him. Fiorelli gritted his teeth and crossed the finish line with the chasing group of the best.
