GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: HENOK MULUBRHAN WINS THE FINAL STAGE AND THE TOUR DU RWANDA.

Henok Mulubrhan sumptuous at the finish in Canal Olympia won in a sprint, taking the first stage race of his career. 8th Alex Tolio in the general classification.

The last stage of the Tour of Rwanda was a heated one, with the first breakaway of fifteen men starting immediately after the start, with Henok Mulubrhan and Alex Tolio in the breakaway group.

 

The young rider from Veneto paced the peloton on several occasions to favour his team-mate. The African Continental Champion never lost contact with the leaders of the group, sinking the blow in the narrow sprint just a few metres from the finish, 1st Henok Mulubrhan and 8th Alex Tolio in the order of arrival. Tolio finished 4th in the youth classification and 8th in the general classification.

 

Henok said after his victory in the Tour du Rwanda: “The race was very hard from the start, I started at the front and stayed there all day, Alex Tolio supported me and helped me throughout the race, I have been trying for a long time to win the Tour du Rwanda and I finally succeeded, then winning like this makes it even better, I thank my teammates and staff for being by my side all week.”

 

Thanks to this victory the spoils of Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè rises 3 in this Tour du Rwanda, in addition to 5 podiums and 9 top 5. In the first two months of racing, 5 victories, 5 podiums and 24 top ten, in addition to the KOM jerseys won by Manuele Tarozzi and Samuele Zoccarato and the victory of the Tour du Rwanda.
