GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: IL LOMBARDIA, THE LAST MONUMENT OF THE SEASON ON SATURDAY, OCT. 7.

On Saturday, October 7, the Classic of the Dead Leaves will take place, featuring 7 athletes selected by the Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè team.

The last monument of the season will start in Como and finish in Bergamo after covering 238 km with an elevation gain of 4,400 meters. Twenty-five teams will participate, including the Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè, who will contend with the historic climbs that define the Classic of the Dead Leaves: Madonna del Ghisallo, Roncola, Berbenno, Passo della Crocetta, Zambla Alta, Passo di Ganda, and, finally, the challenging Colle Aperto ascent before the finish in Bergamo.

The lineup has been chosen with careful consideration of the riders’ recent form after their last races. The 7 riders selected for the #greenteam are: Alessandro Tonelli, who will lead the team. There’s also a spot for Martin Marcellusi, who secured an excellent 7th place at GranPiemonte. He will be followed by the African Continental Champion Henok Mulubrhan. Alex Tolio is also included, known for his impressive 170km breakaway at Lombardia 2022. This marks the first participation for the two neo-pros Riccardo Lucca and Filippo Magli. Luca Covili from Emilia, a seasoned veteran of the recent Tour de Langkawi, completes the lineup.

The race will be broadcasted live on RaiSport HD, switching to Rai2 in the final stages, and also on Eurosport2, providing comprehensive live coverage starting at 10:10 a.m. Lombardia 2023 will also be available for live streaming on RaiPlay, Eurosport, Discovery+, GCN+, Now Tv, Dazn, and Sky Go.
