VUELTA SAN JUAN ENDS, ZANONCELLO 10TH IN THE FINAL SPRINT. TAROZZI WINS CLIMBERS CLASSIFICATION, REDEEMS PREVIOUS SEASON MARKED BY SERIOUS LEG INJURY.
The last stage of the Tour of San Juan was held today. Enrico Zanoncello finished among the top10 for the third time. Manuele Tarozzi wins the mountain classification and is the second European to take the orange jersey of the Vuelta a San Juan, along with Guillaume Martin.
The rider’s statements: “I am very happy with this result, it’s the first race of the year and I have started very well, I have partially made up for the 2022 season, my teammates have helped me a lot, it’s also thanks to them that I have won this jersey, we are a wonderful cohesive and united group, I also thank the sport director Mirko Rossato and the whole team.”
It is worth highlighting the 11th place of Filippo Magli in the 4th stage and the 14° Place in stage 5 for Alessandro Santaromita.
