GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: THE LINE-UP CHOSEN FOR THE GIRO DI SICILIA.
Having selected the seven riders to start the Giro di Sicilia, which will begin on Monday 11 April, with four stages planned.
From Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 April, the Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè will be at the start of the Giro di Sicilia. At the front Roberto Reverberi and Luca Amoriello will lead a line-up of seven athletes, chosen from the most experienced riders.
At the start there will be the home athlete, Filippo Fiorelli, who is certainly very motivated on the roads of his native Sicily. There will be Samuele Zoccarato, who this year has clocked up a total of 1022km (first in the ranking). Also at the start is the young sprinter Luca Colnaghi, 2nd at the GP Adria Mobil in Slovenia.
More experienced riders such as Davide Gabburo and Alessandro Tonelli are also in the squad. New-prof Filippo Magli and Martin Marcellusi complete the line-up.
The four stages of the Giro di Sicilia will see a rather demanding route, which will presumably leave room for the fast wheels in the second and third stages.
