The Giro d'Abruzzo returns to the calendar of Italian races, the next imminent commitment for the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè, here are the 7 chosen athletes.

The Giro d’Abruzzo returns to the calendar of Italian races, scheduled from April 9th to 12th. Over 9500 meters of total elevation gain that the riders will face over the four days of racing, with the uphill finish in Prati di Tivo, a true appetizer for the Giro d’Italia. In total, there are 4 stages to tackle.

The VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè fields a mix of fast wheels and climbers, with experienced Domenico Pozzovivo starting alongside young Alessio Martinelli for the classification ambitions. Sprinters and athletes with quick bursts of speed are also chosen, such as Filippo Fiorelli, Enrico Zanoncello, Filippo Magli, and the very young Lorenzo Conforti, born in 2004, in pursuit of the first seasonal victory after several second places. Closing the lineup is the veteran and team captain Alessandro Tonelli.

Leading the team from the team car are DS (Directeur Sportif) Roberto Reverberi and the Abruzzo-native Alessandro Donati.

All stages of the Giro d’Abruzzo will be broadcast live from April 9th to 12th at 13:50 on Eurosport 1 and RaiSport. (italian time)
