Domenico Pozzovivo places in the Top10 in the queen stage of the Giro d'Abruzzo, now he is eleventh in the general classification.
Domenico Pozzovivo achieves a placement in the top ten (10th) in the queen stage of the Giro D’Abruzzo, where the big names battled it out in the long final ascent to Prati di Tivo. The Lucanian rider from VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè started the climb with the group of leaders, a group led by the UAE Team Emirates. Pozzovivo is now eleventh in the general classification.
Filippo Fiorelli also stood out in this third stage, launching himself into the breakaway from km 0 along with 5 other riders. The Sicilian rider will be caught in the long and fast descent by the peloton of contenders, a few kilometers before the start of the final climb. Tomorrow is the concluding stage, with the finish in L’Aquila.
