Domenico Pozzovivo seizes the tenth position in the concluding stage of the Giro d'Abruzzo, also finishing tenth overall: "I was hoping for a Top 5, now I'm getting ready for the Giro."
The VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè concludes this Giro d’Abruzzo with the double Top 10 achieved by Domenico Pozzovivo. The athlete born in ’82, captain of the team in this race, secured a placement in the top ten in the final stage with arrival in L’Aquila, also claiming the tenth position in the general classification.
His Statement:”It has been a positive Giro d’Abruzzo for the team because we secured a win with Zanoncello. Regarding the general classification, I was hoping for a result closer to a Top 5. There is still time to improve our condition in preparation for the Giro d’Italia, and we approach the next two weeks with optimism and confidence.”
