VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: GIULIO PELLIZZARI IS SECOND IN THE THIRD STAGE OF THE TOUR OF THE ALPS.
The Italian rider rises to eighth place in the general classification, 57 seconds behind the new leader Juanpe López.
Giulio Pellizzari takes the second place in the third stage of the Tour of the Alps. The Marche-born cyclist, who played a leading role in the decisive attack alongside Juanpe Lopez, with 25 kilometers to go. The two riders broke away to contest the final victory. Pellizzari crosses the finish line alone in second place behind the Andalusian rider. Thanks to this performance and the bonuses earned from the second place, Pellizzari jumps to eighth position in the general classification.
Regarding the race, Pellizzari stated: “It was a tough stage from the start, very selective. The weather definitely influenced the race, and we knew the last four climbs would be decisive. By that point, I was feeling good, so I decided to take a risk, and it went quite well. I’m happy with today’s performance.”
