VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: LORENZO CONFORTI FOURTH AT THE UMAG TROPHY. PINARELLO ALSO PERFORMS WELL AT THE LAIGUEGLIA TROPHY.
Conforti narrowly misses the podium in Croatia. At Laigueglia, Alessandro Pinarello delivers an excellent performance.
At the Umag Trophy, Conforti secures the spot just below the podium. Regarding the race, Conforti stated: “At the beginning, a breakaway formed, we let others take responsibility for pulling, we let it happen. In the last two laps, there was chaos, nine of us broke away and we were caught two laps from the end. Pinazzi led me out for the sprint, taking Mareczko’s wheel. I’m happy with the result”.
Alessandro Pinarello was very active at the Laigueglia Trophy. The 2003-born rider attacked on the Capo Mele climb and stayed with the leading group until the final lap of the circuit. It was a good race for the twenty-year-old from Veneto, in growing form after his second-place finish at the Tour of Antalya! He finished the race in 26th place.
