A race that was decided on the circuit of Nova Gorica, where Conforti narrowly missed grabbing the first seasonal victory, overtaken by Negrente of Astana Qazaqstan at the photo finish. Good performance for the eighteen-year-old Filippo Turconi, who achieved the eleventh position.
Conforti’s statements: “In the last lap of the circuit, we tried to force in the climb, unfortunately Tolio was missing in the final, who unfortunately fell, Turconi helped me by leading me up to 150m, unfortunately I hesitated to start the sprint and Negrente passed me by a few centimeters. Nonetheless, we are content with the result and hope to do even better in the upcoming races.”
