In the Marmaris-Bodrum stage, the fourth act of the Tour of Turkey, Manuele Tarozzi became the protagonist of the day’s breakaway. The stage was indeed influenced by the breakaway of eight riders, among whom the Faenza native of VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè also joined. The group gradually dwindled down to four riders in the final kilometers. In the end, Manuele Tarozzi attempted a courageous move, but had to surrender 500 meters from the finish, being the last of the escapees to succumb to the return of the peloton.
