Federico Biagini takes third place at the GP Liberazione. A race full of attacks and counterattacks that didn’t worry the rider from Reggio Emilia, always present in the group of the best. Biagini fought for victory in the sprint of six, won by Davide Donati of Biesse Carrera. For the rider from Reggio Emilia, this is his first podium of the season.
His statements: “The race was always lively, full of attacks and counterattacks with a challenging course. Groups kept forming but I always stayed at the front. I tried to anticipate on the last two climbs but unfortunately, I was caught. In the finale, I lost a few meters after the last corner and this penalized me a lot, but I am still happy with the result which gives me confidence for the upcoming races.
