VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: ZLM TOUR – STAGE 4: GABBURO AND MAGLI ATTACK, COLNAGHI AND ZANONCELLO SECURE TOP 10 FINISHES
Gabburo narrowly misses out on victory, caught with 200m to go. Colnaghi finishes 6th and Zanoncello 8th in the bunch sprint.
In the action-packed fourth stage of the ZLM Tour, Magli and Gabburo joined the day’s breakaway group of 10 riders. The most combative rider of today’s stage was Gabburo from Verona, who attempted a breakaway with Krijnsen in the final kilometers. Their dream was shattered 200m from the finish line when the group caught the two attackers and set up the sprint. The team’s sprinters, Colnaghi and Zanoncello, were ready and took a double top 10 finish, with Colnaghi in 6th place and Zanoncello in 8th place.
