Fourth podium of the season for Filippo Fiorelli who ends the first stage of Belgrade Banjaluka in third position. After the stage success at the Istrian Spring Trophy, the Sicilian rider reach his 4th podium of the season. Very short first stage, of just 90km and controlled by the compact group up to 30 from the finish. At minus 30km from the finish-line, a group fall involving half the group including Alessandro Tonelli and Kevin Rivera breaks the peloton favoring the attack of Justin Wolf who manages to take advantage of the slowdown in the peloton to take advantage and reach the finish line alone with a few seconds of advantage. Behind him the final sprint of the group with Filippo Fiorelli second in the group and therefore third overall.

Meanwhile, the fourth stage of the Tour of The Alps, the queen stage, took place in Italy. After a first breakaway attempt in which Luca Covili of Bardiani CSF Faizanè was also involved, the games are re-opend with a second breakway of the day. On the final climb the race exploded, with Giovanni Carboni that is the best rider of the Bardiani CSF Faizanè on the finish-line with the 27° final placement.
