Alessandro Tonelli attacked from kilometer 0 along with Aaron Van Der Beken but was caught after 170 kilometers.

At the Bretagne Classic, the standout performer of the race was team captain Alessandro Tonelli, who launched his attack from the early stages of this prestigious French WorldTour category race. The rider from Brescia managed to stay in the escape for a total of 170 kilometers, alongside Bingoal WB athlete Aaron Van Der Beken. They reached a maximum lead of 5’30”, but they were eventually caught by the main group with 85 kilometers to go. The winner of the Breton classic was Valentin Madouas of Groupama FDJ.

 

In the G.P. De Plouay, a 1.2 category race that entirely took place on the Plouay circuit, covering a total distance of 178 kilometers, the young riders of the #greenteam showcased their skills. Matteo Scalco and Alessandro Pinarello animated the race by joining the breakaway group, but the peloton caught up with them after 130 kilometers. The best finisher for the #greenteam was Lorenzo Conforti, who secured the 23rd position. The day’s victor was the transalpine cyclist Pierre Thierry.
