GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: THE LINEUP FOR THE TROFEO PIVA.
Trofeo Piva on Sunday, April 2, selected the 5 athletes who will take part in the Under23 race.
179.2 km, it will start from the historic Via Treviset in Col San Martino and after an 11.9 km section in which the riders will climb towards Guia and then descend again, the circuit will begin with the Combai climb (2.6 km at 6.3%), 17.7 km long and to be repeated 7 times. Things will change about 45 km from the finish, when the circuit will be enriched for the last two laps with the very tough San Vigilio climb, 700 meters at 10 percent average slope. The last challenging wall of San Vigilio to be repeated twice before the final climb near the finish in Via Treviset.
Chosen the 5 athletes who will take part in the race, among them is Alessio Martinelli, who has shown that he can stay with the firsts even in races among the pros. At the start Matteo Scalco, Luca Paletti, Giulio Pellizzari and Alessandro Pinarello, back from the experience of the recent Coppi e Bartali. Leading the very young recruits of the #greenteam from the team car is Mirko Rossato.
